Have You Joined Yet?

It is great to see so many new faces joining the Glasgow Beard & Moustache Club. If you haven't yet just send your name, age and location to Glasgowbmc@gmail.com, that is all you have to do. You can send us a picture and your phone number if you want too, it's free so why not.

As a thatch of The British Beard Club we would also ask you to take the time to check them out and join them. There is a very small fee but that just covers the awesome pin badge...

...that you get and they keep you up to date with all the other Thatches up and down the UK too, well worth it.

After opening the club we have had people joining us from all over the UK and even as far away as Denmark, Sweden, Canada and the USA. Thanks so much!

An Interesting First Few Months

There is a few months to cram into this first post so I will try to keep it brief. We have been going for a couple of months now and after creating our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (Check the links on the right of the page) profiles we met for the first time.

The first meeting was at the Beards of Glasgow 100 Beards Bash, they have a great blog that is well worth checking out and some fantastic T shirts too (also linked on the right of the page).

This picture is of the 4 founders (left to right) Gregor, Davie, Lewis and Tim.

From there we went on to have our first meet at Brewdog Glasgow and welcomed a couple of great chaps from Edinburgh who had seen details of the first meet on The British Beard Club page so we were delighted they could drop in. Tims dad grew a beard and came along in a move that boosts him to one of the greatest fathers of all time. We also had the pleasure of meeting John, pictured below with Snakes and Ladders champion Davie, John will be a magnificent addiction to the club.

Moving on we also had the opportunity to meet the Australian supergroup The Beards just this month as they played at Broadcast, Glasgow. We met a few guys from the Facebook page who had beards that would bring a tear to a blind mans eye, William and Grant we salute you!

We had the opportunity to present the band with T shirts, which we hope to have on sale soon, and get our picture taken with them.
